How to permanently delete your YFT account

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app

  1. Open the YFT app and sign in
  2. Go to your ID card, then tap Edit Profile
  3. Scroll to Danger Zone at the bottom
  4. Tap Delete My Account, type DELETE to confirm, and submit

Your account is deleted immediately — this page doesn't need you to have the app installed, but if you do, this is the fastest route.

Option 2 — Request deletion without the app

Email info@yft2027.com.ng from the address on your account (or include your registered phone number) with the subject "Delete My Account". You can also call or WhatsApp +234 903 180 2482. We'll verify it's really you, then delete your account within 7 business days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile — name, contact details, state/LGA/ward/polling unit, voter's card info
  • Your passport photo and digital ID card
  • Any opportunity applications you submitted, including supporting photos
  • Print-card delivery requests
  • Push-notification subscriptions
  • Your login credentials — you won't be able to sign in again with that account

Donation notices are kept for our records but are detached from your identity once your account is deleted — they're not personal account data. This matches our Privacy Policy.
