New on YFT: Live Polls, an Election Quiz and Your Personal Voting Plan

The YFT App has added a set of new features designed to turn supporters into informed, organised voters ahead of 16 January 2027.

Live Polls let registered members have their say on the issues that matter to them — vote once, then see in real time what the rest of the movement thinks. Every news update now carries quick reactions, so members can show which stories matter most.

'Am I Ready?' is a seven-question check that produces a personal action plan: whether you still need to register, collect or replace your PVC, transfer your polling unit, or simply plan your route on election morning. The Election Quiz tests what you know about BVAS accreditation, Form EC8A and the rules that catch voters out — and lets you challenge friends to beat your score.

A new State Leaderboard ranks all 36 states and the FCT by registered YFT members. Every member also now has a personal invite link on their digital ID card, with a running count of how many people have joined through it.

Members who turn on notifications will be the first to hear when a new poll opens or a major campaign update lands.
